Movement is Very Personal
Stop measuring your activity level to anyone else’s on social.
Right now, what’s important is whatever makes YOU feel good.
The middle of a pandemic is not the time to add any additional stress to your life. At the same time, if you FEEL like moving, move in the ways that YOU love.
Let’s be honest, any type of activity level raises those endorphins and we could all use some of that right now.
What does that look like? Only YOU know. Maybe just taking a stroll outside for some fresh air if that is available to you. Maybe blasting music in your kitchen and busting your favorite moves while making dinner brings you joy. Maybe it’s chasing your kids in the backyard while they squeal with laughter. Maybe it’s throwing the ball for your pup.
Do that.
And for goodness sake, if you’re emotionally drained and tired and not feeling it, roll with it. You are absolutely in the norm if that’s the case. Rest is also essential right now.
Be kind to yourself.
