The Easiest Cajun Shrimp Recipe!
With just three ingredients you can have dinner on the table in only FIVE minutes! You’ve got to try The Easiest Cajun Shrimp Recipe!
I was chatting with a friend recently who divulged that she has NEVER made shrimp at home…I’m sorry, wha…? She went on to explain that she was intimidated by these little succulent bits of goodness. Bless her heart.
My friend, I’m here to help.
First off, I joke but believe me, I get it. Although I’ve made shrimp many times at home, I am guilty of not knowing what the heck I was doing back in the day and overcooking MANY a shrimps…
In fact, I never used to buy raw shrimp because I didn’t know what to do with it. Now, unless I’m looking for a quick shrimp cocktail, I only buy raw because I finally learned how to cook it properly!
Blackened Cajun Shrimp
Depending on how hot you like your seafood, you can adjust the heat on this dish very easily. Try adding some blackened seasoning or more of a kicked up cayenne Cajun seasoning.
Can I Use Cooked Shrimp?
You can, but I cannot guarantee that the texture of the shrimp won’t get rubbery. My suggestion is to melt the butter and seasoning together then toss with the shrimp in a bowl; essentially just warming the cooked shrimp up with the hot butter.
