Chicken and Biscuits

This is probably my favorite way to have this dish. The first time we had this recipe, we had just gotten back from the Outer Banks where we bought sweet potato biscuits.

Creamy chicken and sweet potato biscuits are out of this world. They were amazing and if you can your hands on some of these, or better yet, make them – getcha some. Even if you can’t, it’s just as delicious with regular ol’ amazing biscuits!

How to Make Slow Cooker Creamy Italian Chicken

If you’ve got a slow-cooker, you know the drill. First, place the chicken into the slow cooker. In a small bowl, mix together, Zesty Italian packet, water, garlic, and red pepper flakes until everything is incorporated.

Next, pour the sauce over the chicken. Set the slow cooker to low for 3 hours or high for 2 hours. At the 3 hour mark, mix the softened cream cheese and cream of chicken soup together in a small bowl.

Remove the slow cooker lid, shred the chicken with two forks and then add the soup/cheese mix and the frozen peas or veggies to the slow cooker, stir. Cover and cook for another hour.
