Easy Sheet Pan Dinner with Shrimp
At least once a month I seem to find myself lacking the energy to head to the grocery store, especially when I have no room in my freezer to add anything new!
Also, who doesn’t love an opportunity to pretend like you’re a contestant on Chopped??
Also, quite honestly, I was looking for easy – what could I toss onto a baking sheet and forget about until it was ready? This is it, friends!
Hubs thought this tasted very similar to a shrimp boil like we used to enjoy when we lived near Baltimore. I wholeheartedly agree.
Ingredients in Cajun Shrimp & Sausage Veggie Sheet Pan Dinner
Just a few simple ingredients for this recipe: raw shrimp, smoked sausage, broccoli, zucchini and/or yellow squash, olive oil, and cajun seasoning.
You’ll toss everything onto a baking sheet, and bake!
Can I Substitute Any of the Ingredients?
Yes! Not a shrimp fan? Leave it out. Don’t have smoked sausage? No worry. Other quick cooking vegetables that you can use: cauliflower, eggplant, and bell peppers.
If you’d prefer different seasoning than Cajun, you can use blackened seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, garlic seasoning or just simply salt and pepper.
How to Make Shrimp & Sausage Veggie Sheet Pan Dinner
As I mentioned, all you’re going to do is toss everything onto your favorite sheet pan, bake, then enjoy!

Ingredients
- 12 oz Raw Shrimp, peeled, tail on
- 8 oz Smoked Sausage, sliced
- 2 cups Broccoli, chopped
- 1 large Yellow or Green Squash, chopped
- 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1-2 tsp Cajun Seasoning, depending on your heat preference
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- On a large baking sheet, add shrimp, sausage, and veggies
- Drizzle with olive oil, then toss
- Sprinkle with Cajun Seasoning, then toss again
- Bake for 8 minutes, remove from oven, toss, then bake for an additional 8 minutes.
- Remove promptly, serve and enjoy!
Notes
If you're using pre-cooked shrimp, add the shrimp in the last 8 minutes.
